I'm Catherine Chooljian and I'm an artist and animator based in Los Angeles!  My recent credits include The Bad Guys, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken, and the upcoming Trolls Band Together and Kung Fu Panda 4.

 

I graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2015 with a BA in Animation and Digital Arts and immediately jumped into freelance to work on some awesome projects in virtual reality, games, motion capture, and robotics/animatronics as a CG Generalist.  In 2017 I decided to continue my education at Animation Mentor to focus more on character and creature animation, which paved the way for my transition into feature film.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I'm passionate about nurturing the next generation of animators. I've proudly served as the animation mentor for Texas A&M University's 2022 and 2023 Summer Industry Course, offered guidance as an alumni tutor at Animation Mentor and USC.

• The Monterey Bay Aquarium is my favorite place

• I can and will bake your birthday cake  

• I'm Ex Trojan Marching Band and still play the french horn

• I've adopted far too many plants
