Luminarias is a 3D animated short film about a lonely little girl who follows a magic jellyfish into the sky.

This was my thesis film at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, and upon its completion I received a B.A. in Animation and Digital Arts.  This film taught me a lot about every part of the 3D pipeline, and I learned a lot of new skills specifically for it - hair and cloth simulation, character modeling, environment lighting, and sound design to name a few.  I also had a team of nine people, so I learned how to recruit, direct, and manage that team.  Everyone was amazing to work with, and making this film was an amazing experience.  I hope you enjoy it!
